Okay, most of you wouldn't remember me if you knew me in the first place. I moved to Enid halfway through 9th grade (Waller) I was a tall chick, very quiet and for lack of a better word we'll just say Rubenesque. Anyway that is the past although no one these days would consider me shy and retiring. I have retired though as an associate professor of Pharmacology because 12 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The disease sucks (again no other word comes to mind) and there are honestly days I wish it were fatal, not many and besides too hard to get a gun permit in NY.
On the brighter side... 2 of my kids will be joining their swim teammates on a swim across the Hudson river this fall. Actually one of the boys is now the summer coach of the girl organizing the group for a religious project. I will be bringing pledge forms to the reunion along with a big cane that I can still swing pretty well. If anyone is up for donating thats great, no pressure.
Before anyone thinks I'm attending the reunion for this purpose only let me assure you my reasons are far more superficial. I live with 3 teenagers(16 yr boy and girl twins and 19 yr old boy just finished freshmanyear and knows everything) and all their friends that hang out here, I have a geriatric, arthritic basset hound that farts all day and a scientist husband that farts all night
See you all in a couple of weeks

Hi Terri - I recognized you
Hi Terri -
I recognized you from your yearbook photo. (I started midway at Waller too.) I wanted to laugh and cry when I read your posting. I did the math and you have been living with MS since your twins were four years old. I can only imagine what you went through, but I think "sucks" fits. We have something in common. I too have a scientist husband that farts all night.
Sorry I won't be at the reunion.

Awesome to see you!!!!
Terri!
I am so happy that you came to the reunion, and that I got to see you and talk to you and hang out with you on Saturday night. Please don't lose touch! I want to keep up with you, and I wish you the best. I will send you the pledge that my husband and I made for the MS swim! I am just glad that I am not swimming the Hudson River!
And by the way...I have TWO geriatric mutts that fart all day and all night! I won't bring my husband into this.
Love and hugs!!!!
